Hello. My team and I have been discussing a very important topic with regards to productivity. This is one of the most important things that we have as an asset: our time. Today, we talked about time management. Here are a few thoughts with regards to creating better time management and being more productive.
First of all, determine how many days are going to work for the entire year and subtract 10%. Those are four days that you may be sick or days that you just may not feel like working. This will take time to go away.
Second, treat your business as if it's a real job. This makes your schedule easier to follow. Having the discipline of a start and end time like a real job will get you more focused.
You must create a schedule that is consistent to the goals you set for your production. Your schedule should be placed where it is seen by a lot of people. Creating this accountability is critical. You need to post it in several places, and also share with everyone at home.
We talked about the three segments to a very productive day:
- The morning routine: This is the time from when you get up until 11:30 or noon;
- Early afternoon routine: This will be between 12 noon and 3:00 PM.
- Evening routine: This is presentation time, from 3 PM until 7 PM.
We focused on mastering your morning routine. This is the money generating time, also know as the most important time of your day. There is nothing in your personal or business life that can't wait until after 12 noon.
If you have any questions, simply email me, post a comment down below and please forward this to someone you know. Also, send us your referrals if you know someone who wants to buy or sell real estate; we want to send you a bunch of referral fees this year! Thanks and have a great day.
