This past week, my team and I really look at the "P" word, the fun world of prospecting! There are a few things that we discussed in the meeting that I want to share with you.
You must prospect first thing in the morning. It's the best time to prospect. You must create an efficient prospecting routine.
For example, get up at a specific time each day to do some form of exercise or stretching. Have a healthy breakfast. Do your affirmations. Get yourself warmed up and ready to go.
Arrive at the office at the same time each morning, and do some role play. A lot of people don't prospect because they don't know what to say or they can't handle rejection. Practice the scenarios that you might encounter every day.
Make sure that you are calling past clients, your sphere of influence, and expired listings every day. Those are very important lead sources. Also make sure to call for sale by owners, just listed, and just sold properties. Setting aside time to contact these leads is vital to growing your business.
